Crisis Prayer
1. Pray for the victims of the recent storms and flooding here in the United States as they attempt to rebuild their lives and homes.
Our Jerusalem
1. Pray for our Vision to become a reality:
"Serving together the churches of the Mallary Baptist Association will make disciples to impact the world."
2. We are praying for our churches and pastors according to an alphabetical list of churches. Pray this time for Gordy-New Bethel Baptist Church (John Evans, supply pastor), Iglesia Bautista Gracia y Verdad (Juan Alonso, pastor), Isabella Baptist Church (Jason Jones, pastor), and Kinchafoonee Baptist Church (Melvin Slappy, pastor).
3. Pray for the churches without pastors: East Albany, Gordy-New Bethel, Northside, Raleigh White, and Sunnyside.
4. Pray for the South Georgia Center, New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary (seminary extension) its teachers and students.
5. Pray for our city and county officials in Dougherty, Lee, and Worth Counties.
6. Pray for our schools, boards of education, superintendents, principals, teachers, and students.
7. Pray for the lost in your family and your circle of influence (work, school, recreation, neighborhood, etc.).
8. Pray for unity in the body of Christ in Albany and surrounding area.
9. Pray for the monthly meetings of the Prayer Team, Discipleship Team, Evangelism/Missions Team, Administrative Team, as well as the monthly MBA Prayer Time.
10. Pray for the MBA Executive Committee Meeting January 19, 2012.
11. Pray for the MBA Senior Adult Rally January 26, 2012.
12. Pray for the ministry at the Coon Hunt January 27-28, 2012.
Our Judea
1. Pray for our state government officials.
2. Pray for the Georgia Baptist Convention: its Executive Director (Robert White), its ministries, and other employees.
3. Pray for the Georgia Baptists' Partnerships: California, Moscow/St. Petersburg, New York City, Western Canada, Yucatan Peninsula (Mexico).
Our Samaria
1. Pray for our national government leaders.
2. Pray for the North American Mission Board, its president (Kevin Ezell), staff, and its missionaries.
3. Pray for the Southern Baptist Convention: Frank Page, President of the Executive Committee and Bryant Wright, SBC President.
4. Pray for our partnership with the Metropolitan New York Baptist Association, New York; George Russ, Executive Director; its 260 churches; and their church planting efforts.
5. Pray for the revival of God’s people and the spiritual awakening of our nation and the world.
Our Uttermost Parts of the World
1. Pray for the International Mission Board--its president (Tom Ellif), staff, and missionaries.
2. Pray for the one billion plus Muslims of the world that they would come to an understanding of who Jesus Christ is.
3. Pray for the salvation of the 100 Largest Unreached People Groups (We will pray for four each time.): Pray for the Nai people of India whose major religion is Hinduism, the Nair people of India whose major religion is Hinduism, the Nau people of India whose major religion is Buddhism, and the Northern Pashtun people of India whose major religion is Islam.
4. Pray for the situation in Israel, Gaza, and the West Bank that progress would be made toward peace.
5. Pray for protection for our armed forces in Afghanistan and Iraq
6. Pray that the people of Iraq and Afghanistan would have stable governments and that they would have an opportunity to hear the Gospel and respond.
7. Pray for the persecuted Christians of the world.
8. Pray for the ongoing work at KM 80, those from Jezreel Church (Cancun) that minister there, and that the people of KM 80 will respond to the Gospel.
ANSWERS TO PRAYER
1. Praise the Lord for the 118 messengers from 33 churches and the 28 guests who participated in the 128th Annual Meeting of the Mallary Baptist Association.
2. Praise the Lord for the staff and members of First Baptist Church Sylvester for the wonderful way that they hosted our Annual Meeting.
3. Praise the Lord for the powerful message Mike Stone, pastor of Emmanuel Baptist Church of Blackshear, preached.
3. Praise the Lord for Jim Eure (Pine Forest) being elected as moderator as a layman, Charlie Brown (Unity) being re-elected as Associate Moderator, and Alisa Hamilton (Bethel) being re-elected as Clerk/Treasurer.
